Here is the points table for HBL PSL season 7.

After the initial 30 matches between all 6 teams, only 4 teams qualifies for the Qualifier round i.e. MS, LQ, PZ and IU.

First Qualifier match was played bewteen Lahore Qalandars (LQ) and Multan Sultans (MS). In this match Multan Sultans bated first and scored 163/2 in 20 overs. In chase, Lahore Qalanders managed to score only 135/9 against the target of 164 in 20 overs. Multan Sultans easily managed to won the match by 28 runs and qualified for Finals of PLS7.

In the 1st Eliminator match, Islamabad United (IU) played against Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) at Lahore Qadafi Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi batted first and scored 169/5 in 20 overs and in response Islamabad United chased the score in 19.3 over with 5 wickets in hand and managed to apply for Eliminator 2 round against Lahore Qalandars.

During the Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United’s Eliminator 2 match, Lahore Qalandars managed to score 168/7 in 20 overs which Islamabad United tried to chase but only left behind by 6 runs by making 162 all out in 19.4 overs, finally making a way for Lahore Qalandars in Finals against Multan Sultan to be played on 27th Feb, 2022 at Qadafi Stadium, Lahore.
