Captain Babar Azam smashed a consecutive century and won a series for Pakistan for the first time in 20 Years against Australia during last Pak vs Aus ODI match. Pakistani bowlers bowled out the Australian Team at 210 in the series decider.
The foundation of this win was the fiery trio of the pace of Pakistan. Shaheen Shah Afridi, the 22 years old youngster has bowled the first over for the team. Pacer Shaheen Afridi has bold the in form Travis head on the very first bowl of the match. Keep in mind that Travis Head is the player of the match in the first ODI of Pak vs AUS ODI series. He took 2 crucial wickets for Australia and hit a century.
Shaheen Shah Afridi with the new bowl is one of the most dangerous bowlers nowadays. ”Everyone knows what he is going to do but no one knows how to play his inswing yorkers”, said Saqlain Mushtaq, former off-spinner of the Pakistan Cricket Team. It was the combination of slow inswing yorker which took the wicket of Travis Head. Travis Head also got stunned after he got bold.
In the very next over, Pakistani Pacer, Haris Rauf also took the crucial wicket of Aaron Finch. He outclasses him by bowl a bowl in line and LBW him. The score of was Australian Cricket team was 0 and both openers went back to the Pavillion. It was at that time Babar and his team started dominating the opposition.

After the score was 0-2 Australian main batsmen of the middle order, Marnus Labuschagne, and Ben McDermott was on the crease. However, Labuschagne is a top-class batsman. Haris Rauf bowled a quicker and Labuschagne went for a drive and got into a trap and give a straight catch into the hands of the fielder, named Iftikhar.
Stoinis, a power hitter of the Australian Team, joined the crease with McDermott. As far as the Babar’s experience was, he knew that Stoinis will go for a hit to the pacers to release the pressure. He asked Zahid Mehmood to spin a bowl for Stoinis. The plan worked, and Stoinis also got out at a score of 19. Now the Australian Batting lineup was collapsed totally.

McDermott and the tail-enders were only looking for the fighting total as it was the series decider. When Australian batter McDermott is about to get set on a crease Muhammad Wasim Jr. slowed down the bowl and get a leading edge on the offside which went straight to the hands of the fielder named Iftikhar. Half of the Australian team got out with a score of 67/5.
Alex Carry made a stunning effort. He hit a half-century for Australia on 61 balls at a very crucial moment. Still, things were working for Pakistani pacers. So, they bowled out the Australia team on the score of 210 in the series decider. Pacers Haris Rauf and Wasim Jr. took 3-3 wickets. Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets and spin bowlers, and Zahid Mehmood and Iftikhar took 1-1 wicket.
Contented chase by Pakistani Batsmen
Both left-handed batsmen, named Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq came to open the innings for the Pakistan Cricket team. The score was not that big. It was just a score of rotating the strike and it can be comprehensively chased. On the other hand, Fakhar Zaman was a bit in hurry. He hit 3 fours in a quick concession. He was playing a bit fast and got out by Nathan Ellis when Marnus Labuchagne take an easy catch.
It was a moment of sadness but the crowd at Gaddafi stadium Lahore was cheering. They were cheering for the arrival of Babar. The slogans for Babar’s knock were all around the ground. When Babar joined the crease with Imam Ul Haq, both felt too easy to achieve the target. In form, Babar Azam and Imam ul Haq played magnificently and once again Babar Azam made a century against Australia.
After Babar Azam made the century, Imam ul Haq took no time to complete the game for Pakistan. He hit a final shot for this contented chase of the Pakistan cricket team. Pakistan won the match and ODI series against Australia with 9 wickets in hand and 73 balls left after 20 years.
