Star Fast bowler has a new feather to decorate his hat. Lahore Qalandar’s distinctive bowler Haris Rauf appoints as an honorary DSP of Islamabad. At the special ceremony, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan conferred the badges of the deputy superintendent on the right-arm pacer.
Cricket is not a game in Pakistan, it is a whole mood of the nation. So when the mood is good, people honor the players with big hearts. Pakistani cricketer Haris Rauf has been honored with an honorary DSP rank by Islamabad Police. IG Islamabad Police Dr Akbar Nasir Khan presented Haris with his honorary rank during an investiture held at an ICT building in Islamabad. Rauf, clad in a complete police uniform, shared the pictures from the event on his social media accounts.
Haris Rauf is among the best fast bowlers present in the Pakistan Cricket Team. Rauf is the celebrated pacer in the Pakistan Cricket team. Who has earned immense fame and appreciation within a short span through his exceptional performances.
Rauf has taken 72 T20I wickets and 30 ODIs wickets for Pakistan. He was recently spotted at the Wagah Border with the PSL 8 Trophy, which he won with Lahore Qalandars.
It seems to be a trend between police of different regions and Pakistan pacers. As earlier this year, Naseem Shah was also appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police.

The police department of Baluchistan gave Naseem the DSP rank in the function that took place at the IG Baluchistan Police Office, Quetta. While Shaheen Shah Afridi was honoured with the same rank by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.
Haris shared the pictures from the event, saying he was truly honored to be appointed as a goodwill ambassador of Islamabad police. It is an even greater honor to be able to wear this uniform as our heroes who lay their lives in the line of duty.
