Saudi Arabia on Tuesday experienced a bout of strong easterly winds and severe lightning storms, causing widespread damage across the country. The cities of Makkah, Jeddah, and several other regions bore the brunt of the stormy weather.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is a place that studies the weather. They are telling us that there will be thunderstorms in Saudi Arabia over the next few days until next week. These thunderstorms will have different strengths in different areas of the country. They said that a lot of places like Asir, Al-Baha, Hail, Al-Qassim, Najran, and Jazan, and parts of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province will have thunderstorms.
Last night numerous vehicles were carried away by floods as a storm struck the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia on Friday, while Umrah pilgrims courageously faced the heavy rain. In anticipation of the inclement weather, the city’s municipal authorities had been preparing for the past several days, with emergency teams ready to respond to any unexpected events. Well-prepared officers were on standby to handle any unfortunate occurrences.
When thunderstorms arrived in the holy city of Makkah on Friday, several streets saw a buildup of vehicles that had been swept away by sudden flash floods.
