Pakistan Sends Aid to Gaza Via Egypt Amid Conflict

Pakistan is helping Gaza as the war between Gaza and Israel gets worse. They’re sending 1,000 tents for winter and 4,000 blankets. The attacks from Israel on Palestine have led to almost 3,500 people losing their lives.

Pakistan sent its first shipment of aid to Palestine as the conflict between Gaza and Israel continues. The aid includes 1,000 winter tents, 4,000 blankets, and three tons of medicines. It will be delivered to Palestine through Egypt using a special aircraft, according to the Foreign Office.

The airstrikes from Israel on Gaza have led to the loss of nearly 3,500 lives, with thousands more injured. Many buildings have been destroyed, and necessities like water, food, and power are scarce. Over one million people have been forced to leave their homes.

Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7 has resulted in over 1,400 casualties. This conflict has sparked widespread anger in the Middle East against Israel and its Western supporters.

At a press conference, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed Pakistan’s deep concern for the well-being of the Palestinian people in Gaza. She strongly condemned Israel’s aggressive actions, especially the recent attack on a Gaza hospital. Therefore, emphasizing that they violate international laws on humanitarian and human rights.

Baloch also stated that intentional attacks on civilian areas are considered war crimes and crimes against humanity. She called for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the blockade on Gaza, and the creation of humanitarian corridors for unrestricted relief supplies.

Disturbing Situation In The Region

In related news, Israel has agreed to allow 20 trucks carrying relief supplies to cross the Rafah crossing from Egypt into Gaza. The first deliveries are expected to arrive on Friday at the earliest. More than 100 trucks carrying aid have been waiting on the Egyptian side of the border. In addition, that is the only entry and exit point to Gaza not controlled by Israel.

However, Cairo has kept the crossing closed due to repeated Israeli strikes nearby. Moreover, there are concerns that Israel may be trying to permanently displace Palestinians into Egypt’s Sinai desert.

On the Gaza side, many people are anxiously waiting to leave. But they keep a safe distance in case of new Israeli attacks. There are concerns that the situation may worsen if Israel proceeds with a ground invasion. Moreover, they can aim at dismantling Hamas and rescuing hostages.
