Grok is considered to be a competitor to ChatGPT. Both are large language models (LLMs) that can generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions informally.
American billionaire Elon Musk has introduced Grok, a powerful neural network designed to rival the popular ChatGPT developed by OpenAI. However, Musk emphasized that access to this innovation will be limited to a select group.
To explore the capabilities of Grok, users will need to purchase a Premium+ subscription to the X social network. Elon Musk announced this on his X page, previously known as Twitter.
According to Musk, the Grok chatbot, powered by artificial intelligence, will be accessible to X Premium+ users following an early beta release.
The billionaire proudly touted Grok’s advantages over other AI models. Musk stated that his creation has real-time information access and a penchant for sarcasm, providing answers with a touch of humor.
Additionally, Musk demonstrated that Grok knows the process for producing cocaine, offering a step-by-step guide.
The xAI company behind Grok describes the AI as being inspired by the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It is designed to provide answers to nearly any question and even suggest what questions to ask.
Developers highlighted Grok’s witty and rebellious nature, cautioning those who may not appreciate its sense of humor to refrain from using the chatbot.
Elon’s Remarks
“Grok’s key advantage lies in receiving real-time information through the X platform. It will tackle burning questions that many other AI systems shy away from,” stated xAI in an official statement.
As a reminder, Elon Musk recently made controversial remarks, alleging that the United States is instigating tensions with Iran. He shared a fabricated map depicting Iran surrounded by American military bases.

It is still too early to say which LLM will be more successful in the long run. However, both Grok and ChatGPT have the potential to be powerful tools for communication and creativity.
