We have gathered a few non-final results of the recent General elections in 2024 in Pakistan. A total of 44 parties took part in the elections and a hefty number of the public cast their votes to choose the future of their country. Independent candidates are leading in all major seats so far.
Today a historic general elections 2024 was held in Pakistan. Three major political parties, 41 other parties, and a massive number of ‘Independent candidates’ take part in the contest. This election can be game changing scenario for the country as the fate will fall on the lap of a leading political party.
The last elected government was Imran Khan who led the party named Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI). He was terminated from the office with the external interference of a lot of power and influence. After that, he is convicted in a lot of legal cases like the Toshakhana Case, Cypher, and Iddat case.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) banned PTI from taking part in general elections and took their symbol “Bat” as well. Afterward, the party asked their candidates to run the contest independently. It is important to say that their election campaign was impressive as they guided the public about the different symbols of many candidates.
Non-Government Announced Results
On February 8th, 2024, an election was held in the country. A massive number of young, old, men and women came out to cast their votes. Many celebrities including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Osman Khalid, Sajal Aly, and Shehzad Roy cast their votes and posted on their respective social media handles. People managed to vote without the internet, faraway stations, and many ambiguous symbols.
However, the polling of general elections 2024 stopped at 5 pm. After that counting started. So Far PTI PTI-backed independent candidates are winning by major margins. They even managed to do some setbacks in a few areas as well. However, the results are not confirmed yet and the final results will be announced by ECP themselves. Votes are still being counted in many polling stations so far.
The whole world is looking at the elections that will decide the fate of the country for the next five years.
