The announcement of the postponement was made directly by Adele on social media. She expressed her sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. She explained that she had not fully recovered from illness at the end of the last leg of her shows. Despite the setback, Adele reassured her fans of her love for them and her eagerness to perform for them in the future.

Unfortunate Announcement

The Grammy-winning singer shared the news on her Instagram Tuesday. She wrote, “Sadly I have to take a beat and pause by Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and through my break,” she continued. “I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice. And so on doctor’s orders, I have no choice but to rest thoroughly.”

The specific dates affected by the postponement are March 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th. Efforts are underway to reschedule these shows, and fans will be informed of the new dates in due course.

However, the residency is still set to continue with its five remaining weekends in May and June 2024.
