In a thrilling match at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium in Birmingham, Pakistan’s Champions team chased down 190 runs to defeat Australia by five wickets in the second match of the World Championship of Legends 2024.

Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq were the stars of the game for Pakistan. They added a crucial 90 runs for the fifth wicket, guiding the team to victory in the final over. Despite a shaky start, with Sharjeel Khan (17) and Kamran Akmal (4) falling early, Pakistan’s middle order brought the chase back on track.

Sohaib Maqsood and Shoaib Malik played aggressively to keep the hope alive before getting out. The real turning point came with Younis and Misbah stabilizing the innings. Ben Dunk added 27 off 18 balls, and Callum Ferguson made a vital 26* off 16 balls. Nathan Coulter-Nile also played a quick cameo of 25 off 10 balls. Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi were the best bowlers for Pakistan, taking two wickets each.
