Haris Ali, the husband of anchorperson Ayesha Jahanzeb, has been sent to jail. This action followed a judicial remand by a local court in Lahore. This decision comes after the court rejected the police’s request for an extended physical remand. The case revolves around allegations of Haris Ali’s physical abuse against his wife, Ayesha Jahanzeb, a prominent TV host.
The court hearing occurred at Cantt Kachhari in Lahore, where it reviewed Haris Ali’s case. The court chose judicial remand because the initial three-day physical remand period yielded no significant recoveries.
Ayesha Jahanzeb herself filed the case at Sarwar Road police station, accusing her husband of repeated violence over the past year. She sustained serious injuries from these alleged incidents, prompting her to seek legal action against Haris Ali.
After filing the FIR, the police swiftly arrested Haris Ali and presented him before a judicial magistrate who approved a two-day physical remand. However, since the court rejected extending this remand, Haris Ali is now on judicial remand.
