Donald Trump Injured in Attempted Assassination at Pennsylvania Rally

In a shocking incident, an attempted assassination at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania injured US Presidential candidate Donald Trump. The shooting resulted in one death and two injuries, leaving Americans stunned and questioning security measures.

Trump, 78, was addressing the crowd when eight shots were fired. One bullet grazed his ear, causing blood to streak down his face. The Republican candidate’s security agents immediately swarmed him, but Trump reemerged briefly, pumping his fist and mouthing “Fight! Fight! Fight!” before being rushed to a black SUV.

The Secret Service confirmed that the shooter died and that the attack killed one rally attendee. Another attendee sustained critical injuries.The incident is under investigation as an assassination attempt, but law enforcement officials have not yet identified the shooter or the motive.

Trump later reassured his supporters on his Truth Social platform, stating, “A bullet pierced the upper part of my right ear, causing much bleeding.”

Biden Condemns Violence, Praises Secret Service After Trump Incident

President Joe Biden expressed relief that Trump was safe, condemning the violence and praising the Secret Service for their swift action. “There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” Biden stated.

Leading politicians from both parties quickly denounced the violence. Republican Representative Ronny Jackson revealed that the incident wounded his nephew. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer both condemned the attack and emphasized that political violence has no place in the country.

The FBI has taken the lead in the investigation, deploying agents and evidence response teams. They have tentatively identified the shooter, a 20-year-old Pennsylvania man, but have not disclosed further details.
