Israel Airstrike on Gaza School Kills Over 100

On Saturday, an Israeli airstrike killed more than 100 Palestinians in a school in Gaza. Displaced people, who had fled from the ongoing violence in the region, were using the school as a shelter. This attack has drawn more attention to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, causing widespread concern and outrage.

The airstrike struck early in the morning while many of the displaced people inside the school were performing their Fajr (dawn) prayers. The sudden and deadly attack caused a large number of casualties, with many people suffering injuries in addition to those who lost their lives. This incident is one of the deadliest in the recent escalation of violence in Gaza.

The Israeli army released a statement explaining their actions. They claimed that they aimed the airstrike at a Hamas command and control center, which they said was located within the school. According to the Israeli military, Hamas used the school as a hideout for its terrorists and commanders. The Israeli forces stated that they had taken steps to avoid harming civilians, including using precise weapons and gathering intelligence before the attack. However, despite these precautions, the strike caused a high number of civilian casualties.

This attack has led to international calls for a ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The ongoing violence in Gaza has inflicted immense suffering on the people living there, with many civilians getting caught in the crossfire. The international community is urging both sides to stop the fighting and resolve their differences through dialogue rather than violence.
