PM Shehbaz Sharif Promises Relief in Electricity Bills

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured the nation that a reduction in electricity prices will be announced soon. Speaking at an Independence Day ceremony held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), the Prime Minister shared his vision for the country’s economic future, including a comprehensive five-year economic plan to tackle Pakistan’s financial challenges.

During his speech, PM Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing inflation, reducing electricity costs, and fostering Pakistan’s development. He also extended heartfelt Independence Day greetings to the nation, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs and veterans who fought for the country’s freedom in 1947.

Addressing the youth, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of focusing on education and acquiring skills. He warned against falling prey to negative influences and stressed the need to stay away from activities that could harm the country. He noted that enemies are now using digital tools to hinder Pakistan’s progress, and urged the youth to remain vigilant.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the ongoing economic difficulties, pointing out that several sectors are struggling. He emphasized the need for accountability and careful future planning, recognizing that inflation and unemployment have created significant burdens for the public.

PM Addresses the Whole Nation:

PM Shehbaz Sharif called for the nation to embark on a new journey, leaving behind past failures, and working together for a brighter future. He stressed the importance of reducing electricity bills, stating that industrial growth and increased exports are essential for economic recovery, but impossible without addressing the high cost of electricity.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the need to counter external threats, including digital misinformation, which has contributed to Pakistan’s setbacks. He reaffirmed his commitment to tirelessly work for Pakistan’s economic development and expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and Palestine, promising to continue supporting them until they achieve independence.
