Another Turn in Ameer Balaj Case: Teefi Butt’s Brother-in-Law Killed

Case of Ameer Balaj, son of Arif Ameer (known as Tipu Truckanwala), has triggered a series of violent incidents in Lahore, shedding light on deep-seated family enmities. In February, unidentified gunmen targeted and killed Ameer Balaj while he attended a wedding in Chuhng area of Lahore. As Balaj and three others faced a hail of bullets, attackers managed to critically wound him. Despite being rushed to Jinnah Hospital, Balaj succumbed to his injuries, marking the beginning of a tragic series of events.

Murder of Javed Butt

The situation intensified when unknown assailants targeted Javed Butt, brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, who they accuse of murdering Ameer Balaj. Attackers opened fire on Javed Butt while he was traveling on Lahore’s bustling Canal Road, killing him on the spot. His wife, who was with him at the time, sustained injuries in attack. Police quickly arrived at scene and transported her to hospital for treatment. This attack further fueled the tension, linking it directly to ongoing feud between the families involved.

Murder of Ahsan Shah

Police had taken Ahsan Shah to recover a weapon related to case when gunfire erupted, leading to his death. His family, especially his wife and mother, accused the police of deliberately killing him, branding it as a murder rather than an accidental death.
