PTI Speeds Up Preparations for Sept 8 Public Gathering in Islamabad

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is speeding up its efforts for a major public gathering on Sunday, September 8, in Islamabad. The party aims to showcase its strength and is finalizing arrangements to ensure a successful event.

The team is constructing a stage using multiple containers to hold 300 people. This stage, set up in Sangjani, will be the focal point for PTI supporters and leaders during the rally. Therefore, stage construction is a top priority.

On Saturday, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and other senior party figures arrived at the venue to review the preparations. PTI workers also gathered at the site, while police ensured security and smooth operations for the event.

Gohar Ali Khan Plans to Consult PTI Founder

Additionally, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan addressed internal party matters concerning Omar Ayub’s resignation as secretary general. Khan announced his plan to consult the party’s founder about the next steps. He emphasized that elections should decide the new secretary general. Consequently, Khan plans to meet with the party founder next week, as he could not do so earlier due to event preparations.

Omar Ayub’s resignation has been accepted, and Salman Akram Raja will serve as the new secretary general. In response, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan commented on this appointment and reaffirmed his commitment to discussing it with the party’s founder.

As PTI finalizes preparations for the gathering, the party remains focused on demonstrating unity and addressing important internal issues. In addition to the event preparations, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan emphasized the party’s strategy for the upcoming rally. He highlighted the importance of mobilizing supporters effectively and ensuring that the gathering sends a strong message to the public.

Khan stressed that PTI’s success in this event will depend on both the coordination of logistics and the engagement of party members. Therefore, the party’s efforts extend beyond the physical setup to include strategic planning and communication with supporters. This comprehensive approach aims to maximize the impact of the September 8 gathering and reinforce PTI’s position in the political landscape.
