Protests to Persist Until Demands Are Met: CM Gandapur

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reaffirmed his support for PTI Founder Imran Khan and vowed to continue November 24 protest until meeting their demands. Speaking to reporters, Gandapur urged the public to join protest and support Imran Khan’s fight for Pakistan.

We will reach D-Chowk and continue our protest until we secure the release of former prime minister and party workers,” Gandapur declared. He stressed that protecting Constitution remains a key demand.

Gandapur accused federal government of obstructing their path with tear gas and firing. “If any damage occurs, I will hold federal government fully responsible,” he warned.

He promised to follow Imran Khan’s directives, stating that they would only begin negotiations with the government after Khan’s release. “PTI workers and I will reach D-Chowk at any cost,” Gandapur said. He criticized federal and Punjab governments for blocking highways and motorways, calling their actions a sign of panic.

Naqvi revealed that a high-level Belarusian delegation would arrive in Islamabad on November 24, followed by president of Belarus on November 25. He highlighted the importance of ensuring security during their stay, which will last until November 27.

Gandapur accused the government of causing unnecessary hardships for public by blocking major roads. He reiterated that PTI would keep the protest peaceful and urged authorities to respect people’s right to assemble peacefully.

As protest nears, both sides remain firm. PTI stays determined to meet its demands, while government focuses on maintaining order and complying with legal obligations.
