Jansher Khan Glorious Career
Jansher Khan was a key figure in Pakistan’s dominance in squash during the 1980s and 1990s. He won eight World Championships and six British Open titles. His career includes 99 professional titles, the most by any male player in history. Khan also held the World No. 1 spot for a record 97 months. Reflecting on his induction, he shared his joy, saying Hong Kong was like a second home to him, as he won eight Hong Kong Open titles there.
PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough praised both players, saying, “Nicol and Jansher’s names will forever be linked with squash. Their records and influence on the game are unmatched.” Current players also honored their legacies. World No. 1 Nour El Sherbini described Nicol as “the greatest of all time,” while Men’s World No. 1 Ali Farag called Jansher “the greatest squash player of all time.”
