Kashmiris Pay Tribute to Quaid-e-Azam on His Birth Anniversary

Kashmiris pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan on his 148th birthday. He is a revered figure in Pakistan, and his vision of a united and prosperous nation resonates with Kashmiris. Kashmiris are also seeking self-determination and a better future for their region.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) celebrated the 148th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with great admiration and respect.

The Quaid’s birthday cakes were cut in this ceremony to celebrate the historic day with great elation amid the clapping by the jubilant participants and voicing “Happy birthday to Quaid-e-Azam” to express their heartiest love and affection with the Quaid.

In Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas praised Quaid-e-Azam as a visionary leader. He said the Muslims of South Asia achieved a separate homeland in 1947 under his leadership. He also highlighted the deep connection between the people of Kashmir and Pakistan. In addition to that Kashmiris believe Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir.

Several Hurriyat organizations, including the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, echoed these sentiments. They recalled Quaid-e-Azam’s statement calling Kashmir the “jugular vein” of Pakistan, emphasizing the region’s importance to the nation. They expressed hope that Pakistan would continue to support Kashmir’s freedom movement on global platforms.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, honored Quaid-e-Azam’s efforts in shaping the future of the subcontinent. In a special message, he called Jinnah a leader who turned the dream of a separate Muslim state into reality. The Prime Minister highlighted the Quaid’s love for Kashmiris and praised their resilience against Indian oppression.

Across AJK, special events marked the day. People offered prayers in mosques for Pakistan’s prosperity and Kashmir’s freedom. They organized ceremonies in all districts, cut cakes, and expressed their love for the Quaid.

Speakers at these events remembered Quaid-e-Azam’s struggle, leadership, and vision. They urged people to follow his principles and work towards making Pakistan a strong and prosperous nation. The gatherings renewed the pledge to continue supporting Kashmir’s cause, reflecting the Quaid’s belief in its vital role for Pakistan.

This celebration highlighted the enduring love and respect for Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Kashmir. They also renewed hopes for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue.
