Pakistani drama actress Ushna Shah has responded sharply to the haters who criticised her bridal dress. Ushna tied the knot with Pakistani golfer Hamza Amin in a star-studded ceremony on Sunday. The pictures and videos of the actress in her magnificent red lehnga went viral on social media. With some people hating her dress while some were in awe.

It can be seen that Ushna chose a red dress for the wedding ceremony, while her husband wore a white sherwani. But apparently some social media users took offence to Ushna’s outfit. Calling it a “promotion of Indian culture over Pakistani culture”.
Ushna opted for a traditional bridal look by Wardha Saleem. The accessories paired with her regal lehenga choli brought all the bling. She wore an embroidered belly belt of the same colour as her dress and a golden matha patti to go with. Her heavy Kundan jewellery, some bangles and a sleek bun was coupled with a classic scarlet pout to complete the look. Her husband Hamza looked suave in an ivory and gold jamawar sherwani with gold details and a qula with a red tiny heart sprinted on it.

Ms Shah responded sharply to the haters who criticised her wedding outfit. On Sunday, the actress posted a picture on her Instagram stories featuring her bridal mehendi and her red wedding outfit. She wrote. “Mrs Amin, to those who have a problem with my dress: you weren’t invited, nor did you pay for my shade of red. My jewellery, my jora (wedding outfit): purely Pakistani. My heart, however, half-Austrian. Allah humein khush rakhey aameen (May God keep us happy).” She further wrote, “Beigaani shaadi mein jo inunived photographers ghuss gaye, unko salaam (my greetings to the uninvited photographers, who came for our wedding).”
