Allegations of sexual abuse involving a young domestic worker from Ranipur Peer have been brought to attention. It is now confirmed that Fatima the 10 years old minor had been subjected to sexual assault and physical abuse.
Preliminary medical findings regarding the deceased young domestic worker Fatima in Ranipur have verified that she suffered physical abuse and sexual assault. The Nawabshah Medical Board released this initial report after exhuming the 10-year-old girl’s grave. After that they conduct a post-mortem examination with sample collection.
The report disclosed the shocking details about the case. It is confirming that the victim was subjected to both physical and sexual mistreatment before her demise. All these sad incidents happen at the residence of an influential family in Ranipur. The medical board included members like Dr. Zakiuddin from Dow University, forensic expert Dr. Sultan Rajpar, Dr. Yasin Jokhio, Police Surgeon Dr. Waqar Ahmed Shaikh, Dr. Amanullah Bhangore, Dr. Aqeel Ahmad Qureshi, and Medical Superintendent PMC Nawabshah Dr. Javed Hussain Memon.
Presenting their findings to the police, the board intends to submit the report to the court tomorrow. Furthermore, the chief minister will also be briefed on the case’s progress.
The main suspect, Pir Asad Ali Shah, who is currently in custody. He was taken to GIMS Hospital in Gambat for a DNA test sample. The police conducted tests on the accused, collecting his blood samples as well.
Police Actions
Sukkur DIG Javed Jiskani communicated to the media. That the medical board has indeed confirmed the physical abuse and sexual assault experienced by the young girl. He added that the investigation will encompass booking the former SHO of Ranipur, the Head Mohrar, the doctor, and the compounder for their alleged involvement in the incident.
The police officer further mentioned that charges will be filed against the accused for negligence, tampering with evidence, and prematurely releasing the victim’s body without conducting a proper post-mortem examination.
In addition, the police have issued orders to promptly rescue all the children from the family’s residence and ensure their return to their respective homes. The DNA samples of all the males residing in the Haveli will also be collected for analysis.
