The Sindh High Court has issued notices to the Inspector General of Police (IG), the Chief Secretary of Sindh, and other officials on a plea seeking the recovery of Hareem Shah’s husband. Bilal Hussain Shah has been Missing since August 27, 2023.
Lahore High Court has sent official messages to the top police officer in the Punjab region and other important people because of a request made by a man named Muhammad Nawaz. Muhammad Nawaz is the father of a famous person named Hareem Shah. Controversial Pakistani TikToker Hareem Shah said on Sunday that some men in plainclothes kidnapped her husband Bilal Shah in Karachi and took him away in a 4×4 vehicle.
Hareem explained that Bilal was with her in London just last week. He got kidnapped as soon as he arrived in Karachi. She mentioned that there were people who saw this happening, but she didn’t know who these kidnappers were. Hareem asked the police and other law enforcement groups to help find her husband and bring him back.
Hareem added that her husband wasn’t involved in any politics. She felt that the local police weren’t doing enough to find him. So she went to court to ask for their help in finding her husband.
Some sources suggest that Bilal is being questioned because of controversial things posted on Hareem’s Twitter account. However, Hareem insisted that she didn’t post those controversial things, and she doesn’t know who was behind it. She told investigators that someone else was using her Twitter account, but she allowed them to do so.
There were tweets from Hareem’s Twitter account that criticized government institutions and important people recently, but they were later removed. Hareem and her husband have been living in Europe for the past few months, and Bilal only returned to Pakistan a week ago.

A complaint has been filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) concerning Bilal’s alleged “unlawful confinement” by government officials.
In the request, a lady named Shahzadi Begum explained that her son Syed Bilal was taken by government officers on August 27 from the Korangi area, and no one knows where he is now.
She said that Bilal’s wife, Hareem, is active on social media, sharing her political opinions. Shehe believes that her husband was detained because of her political views on these platforms.
She argued that her son has not been involved in any illegal or criminal activities and asked the court to instruct the police and other authorities to release him and provide information about any charges that may have been filed against him.
