In a heartwarming move, JDC opened a brand new Free Dialysis Center in Sialkot on October 30, 2023. The center is named after the generous businessman, Mr. Tanveer’s mother, Kulsoom Akhtar. She single-handedly funded this project, giving JDC the means to establish this much-needed facility in Sialkot.
This initiative is a lifeline for those in need. Offering free dialysis services and relieving patients of the financial burden often associated with treatment.
In addition, the center strictly follows international standards. Ensuring patient safety through the use of one-time-use equipment, and guaranteeing a clean and safe environment for all.

Zafar Abbas, the General Secretary of JDC, had a bold vision of setting up 50 dialysis centers across Pakistan. Thanks to his unwavering dedication, this vision has now become a reality. With over 17 million kidney disease patients in Pakistan and limited resources, this initiative addresses a critical healthcare issue. Dialysis treatment, which usually costs over $3000 per year per patient, is often unaffordable for many, making centers like these essential.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation and the growing number of patients in need, JDC has already established free dialysis centers in various cities, including Karachi. These centers have become beacons of hope for individuals who were previously burdened by the high costs of treatment.
JDC Welfare Organization, a non-governmental, non-profit entity, is dedicated to serving humanity without bias. Their main mission is to alleviate human suffering and help people regain their normal lives.
As JDC continues to grow its network of free dialysis centers, it remains steadfast in its commitment to providing high-quality medical care, entirely free of charge. These centers represent a significant step towards reducing human suffering and offering hope to kidney disease patients throughout Pakistan.
