Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Decide to Leave India Permanently

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have chosen to leave India and move to London permanently with their two children. The couple, well-known for their celebrity status, want a quieter life away from the busy atmosphere of India.

Kohli recently led India to victory in the T20 World Cup in Barbados. He and his wife Anushka are choosing to live in a peaceful environment for their family. They want to live in a city where they can move freely without constant recognition. This will allow their children, Vamika and Akay, to attend an international school.

Following a victory celebration in Mumbai, the couple and their children departed for London. This news comes after Virat Kohli’s announcement of retiring from T20 cricket following the World Cup final, though he will continue playing Test and ODI cricket. Kohli, who will turn 36 in November, expressed his desire to leave international cricket while still at his peak.

Sources close to the couple revealed that Kohli and Anushka have been thinking about moving since their second child, Akay, was born. They plan to purchase a luxurious home in London, where they spent a lot of time before Akay’s birth.

After Akay’s birth, the family spent nearly two months in London away from the pressures of cricket and Bollywood. Kohli returned to India for the T20 World Cup and IPL, with Anushka joining him a few days later. Anushka has consistently requested privacy for their children, asking that their photos not be shared on social media.

Kohli and Anushka have frequently been spotted shopping or dining out in London. Virat also missed a crucial Test series against England to attend Akay’s birth, further strengthening their ties to the city.

Friends of the couple believe that with Kohli nearing retirement, they will likely settle permanently in the UK. Kohli has stated in interviews that he prefers living in Europe, where he can enjoy a more ordinary life with less recognition.
