Noor Xarmina from Islamabad has won the title of Miss Universe Pakistan 2024. The competition, which featured 21 talented candidates, concluded last night with Noor taking the top spot. However, other competition winners were the first runner-up, Nimra Jacob, and exciting finalists like Karen Pinto, Anzela Abbasi, Hoor Mahaveera, and Zainab Raza.
The Yugen Group of Dubai organized the event, though the exact location of the competition remains unclear. An Instagram post confirmed that Noor will represent Pakistan at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November.
Noor hails from the capital city, Islamabad. She grew up in 9 different countries across 4 continents and studied biology for her bachelor’s and business for her master’s degree. Moreover, she worked as a venture capital investor in London before deciding to pursue acting and now full-time modeling.
In her free time, she enjoys running as it gives her mental clarity and discipline. She feels that there is a lack of Pakistani representation in the international entertainment industry, and as an expiring actress, hopes to change the status quo and put Pakistan on the map.
Her bold and intriguing answer in the last round is said to be the final straw that helped her win the prestigious crown. In addition, she shared an image on her Instagram handle where she showed gratitude and thankfulness toward the selecting committee.
The event celebrated Pakistani women for their beauty, intellect, and cultural diversity. It aimed to highlight the country’s elegance and unique cultural richness.
Meanwhile, we wish the young lady all the best and hope she will be successful in pursuing her dream and make Pakistan proud of her achievements.
