Renowned Comedian Sardar Kamal Passes Away

Renowned Pakistani comedian and actor, Sardar Kamal, tragically passed away at the age of 52. He was known for his exceptional comedic timing and infectious laughter. Sardar Kamal left an enduring mark on the Pakistani entertainment industry through his work in films, television, and theater. Moreover, his untimely demise is a significant loss to the world of comedy.

Sardar Kamal, a famous comedian actor in Pakistani cinema and theater, has passed away at 52 due to a heart attack. He suffered a heart attack and he was taken to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology but he could not survive.

Muhammad Sardar, known as Sardar Kamal, was born in Faisalabad. He didn’t get a formal education beyond early school level. He worked in a textile factory in his early life before shifting to stand-up comedy.

Kamal was a beloved figure known for his incredible talent and humor, starring in over 30 films and countless stage dramas. His performances brought joy and laughter to many, earning him a special place in the hearts of his fans.

The Glorious Career

He started his career as an actor in theatre. He acted in Punjabi movies like ChoorianMajajan, and Channa Sachi Muchi besides Urdu movies likDiwane Tere Pyar Kay. Sardar Kamal has also worked in Pak-India co-productions. His famous theatre plays included Janam Janam Ki Maili Chadar. He has also worked as a playwright and director.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has expressed grief over the death of actor Sardar Kamal. She expressed her heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family of late actor Sardar Kamal. Maryam Nawaz said that Kamal’s services in the field of acting will be remembered.

Actor Yasir Hussain took to his official Instagram account to offer his condolences.

“When someone who makes us laugh passes away, we shouldn’t cry. Your work will remain with us. Love you, sir,” Hussain wrote.

Sardar Kamal, who has been a part of the Dunya News program Mazaq Raat since 2023, will be laid to rest in his ancestral city Faisalabad on Wednesday (today). He is survived by his widow, two sons, and a daughter.

Sardar Kamal’s legacy of spreading happiness through his work will always be remembered, making his loss a significant one for the entertainment industry and all who admired him.
