Shah Rukh Khan, proud of his son’s creative leap, shared his excitement on social media. Calling it a “special day,” he wrote, “Aryan and the Red Chillies team have poured their hearts and passion into this project. It’s all heart, hustle, and a whole lot of entertainment. Go forth and entertain people, Aryan! Remember, there’s no business like show business.”

Netflix also teased the series as “a one-of-a-kind project” and invited viewers to “experience Bollywood like never before.” Monika Shergill, Netflix India’s content head, praised Aryan’s vision, stating, “Aryan brings a bold and dynamic directorial vision and has created something truly one-of-a-kind and thoroughly entertaining.”

Aryan, 27, has largely stayed out of the limelight compared to his family. This series marks his entry into the entertainment world as a creator and director. Meanwhile, his sister Suhana Khan, who debuted with The Archies, showed her support. She shared Netflix’s announcement on Instagram with a playful message, saying, “Lots of laughs, drama, and action—just like you! So proud.”

The series was unveiled at a special event in Los Angeles, where Netflix highlighted its global offerings. This marks the sixth collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, following projects like Darlings, Bhakshak, Class of ’83, Betaal, and Bard of Blood.
