The actress, known for her roles in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum and Ishqiya, explained that the event started smoothly as she interacted with fans and took pictures. However, the situation changed when she overheard one of the organizers insulting her manager. “I immediately went to check on her and told the man that he couldn’t speak to her like that,” she shared.
As emotions escalated, Hania said the organizer followed them backstage, continued the abuse, and even called off security protocols. “He chased us, called us names, and verbally assaulted us even more. People had to hold him back,” she recounted. To avoid further chaos, Hania and her team left the venue with the help of promoter Arif Khan.
The actress expressed her disappointment, emphasizing that no one has the right to disrespect others, regardless of their role. She also addressed the challenges faced by women in male-dominated fields. “Just because we are women doesn’t mean you can get away with anything. We will stand up for ourselves,” she asserted.
Hania also criticized media outlets for spreading misinformation and urged them to show more responsibility. Apologizing to her fans, she said, “I dearly love every single one of you and am sorry the event ended this way. Sometimes, we just have to get through the bad days.”
