Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is out of danger following a stabbing incident at his Mumbai residence. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning when an intruder entered his home and attacked him with a knife. Khan was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital for emergency surgery.

According to police reports, an intruder entered the Khan residence through a fire escape. This incident led to a severe confrontation with the actor. Saif sustained six stab wounds, including two severe injuries to his spine and four minor cuts on his neck and hands. He was rushed to the hospital around 3:30 AM, where a team of doctors performed surgery to remove a knife lodged in his thoracic spine and repair leaking spinal fluid.
Dr. Nitin Dange, who led the surgery, stated, “The procedure was successful, and Saif Ali Khan is out of danger. He is currently being monitored as he recovers.”
Saif’s team also confirmed the news, expressing gratitude to fans and well-wishers. In a statement, they shared, “Saif Ali Khan is now stable and under medical observation. The family is safe, and police are investigating the matter.”
The burglary attempt, which occurred just after midnight, also involved an attack on a female staff member, who is receiving treatment for her injuries. Mumbai police have launched a search for the suspect, who fled the scene after the attack.

Saif Ali Khan, 54, is one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors, known for his roles in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Tanhaji, and Omkara. Married to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, the couple resides with their two children in the upscale Bandra neighborhood.
