Four Major Religious events to crossover this week

Talking of religious harmony in the world, this week is quite auspicious for a lot of people. A lot of religious events are happening these days. It shows the diversity of each religion in its own colors.

There are more than 4000 recognized religions in the world. Hundreds and thousands of devotees are always ready to pay their regards in any case. Every religion has its religious practices and festivals. These religious events make their belief more strong and more subtle. On the happiest note for many people, these events brought holidays as well. But the main essence of these practices is to remind one that their foundation of belief is strong from the base.

A beautiful coincidence is coming this week. Four different religious practices will be practiced this week by devotees. It is not wrong if you call this week a secular celebration of religions all over the world. Major events are

Easter

Easter, Latin Pascha, Greek Pascha, the Biggest Christian festival in the world. Millions of Christians gather on this day to celebrate the Resurrections of Jesus. The resurrections happened after 3 days of cruxification. In Christianity, this is the sign of divinity and truth. Moreover, according to the Devine calendar, it falls on any Sunday from March 22 to April 25th. This year’s Easter will be celebrated on 17th April 2022.

Christians observe fasts for 40 days, excluding Sundays. After the sermons of good Friday, Easter falls the next Sunday. However, they starts celebrating it after the grand mass at church. In some areas, it started after noon, in some areas they starts on dinner, whereas some people like to celebrate it on the midnight.

The church ordered us to avoid eating eggs during Easter week in the old times. But chickens never stop laying eggs each day. This phenomenon is later got famous as Easter eggs. They don’t eat them but decorate them with beautiful art and colors. Easter Eggs are the signs of the beginning of new life coming from the shell. In the United States, they depict this theory with rabbits, so they have Easter bunnies for this festival. Few countries have cuckoo whereas few have a fox who brings Easter eggs.

Laylatul Qadr

Since Muslims are observing fasts from the start of April. So it is already a festive month for them. But in this month, Allah promised a special night to all of the devotees. It is called Laylatul Qadr, which means Night of Power. In this night Allah says He will grant every wish of his follower. This night is very auspicious for all of the Muslim community. They seeks to find this night in the last 10 days of Ramadan. In few cases, this night might fall on 21st of Ramadan. If we believe that theory, then the blessed night is coming this Saturday.

Allah says to find this night in Ramadan and gets blessings for the whole life. Muslims will offer prayers, Recite Qur’an, and other religious practices to get close to Allah Almighty. In short, these 10 days of Ramadan are the most favorite for all Muslims.

Birthday of Guru Angad Dev

This is the birthday of the second Guru in Sikhism. Angad Dev was the son of a very pious and religious man. They follow Maa Durga. At one religious event of such kind, He met Guru Nanak Singh. After that, he starts following his and accepts that Guru Nanak spreads the true religion only. He went to meet him at Kartarpur. He spends 7 years in the company of Guru there. After that Guru Nanak declared with second Guru and sends him to Khadur for preaching.

He spent his entire life teaching people love and harmony. He opened dozens of schools and institutes for needy people. Guru Anand wrote Guru Garanth in a language that has no chance of any blasphemy or misunderstanding. Later that became the basis of the Punjabi Language. He was born on the 5th Vaisakhi, so the Sikh community celebrates his birthday each year to remember his teachings and lessons.

Religious Events of Passover

This is a very important religious dinner for Jews.  Hebrew Pesaḥ or Pesach, in Judasim. Holiday Commemorating the Hebrews’ liberation from slavery in Egypt. The “passing over” of the forces of destruction, or the sparing of the firstborn of the Israelites, when the Lord “smote the land of Egypt” on the eve of the Exodus. This year Passover will be celebrated from April 15 to April 23, 2022.

Passover is often celebrated with great pomp and ceremony, especially on the first night, when a special family meal called the seder is held. At the seder, foods of symbolic significance commemorating the Hebrews’ liberation are eaten, and prayers and traditional recitations are performed.
