West Indian team arrived yesterday to complete the postponed tour of 2021. Three ODIs series will start from June 08, 2022 in Multan Stadium. West Indies will play with newly appointed Captain Nicholas Pooran.
Pakistan is all set to host West Indies for 3 ODIs series this week. These matches are commencing to complete the postponed tour of December 2021. However, That series was held a little due to the pandemic outbreak. Now three one-day international matches will play in the beautiful stadium of Multan. Initially, matches schedule to play in Rawalpindi stadium. The west Indian team arrives yesterday and will start their training on Tuesday. The dates of the matches are June 08, June 10, and June 12 respectively. These days the weather in Multan is scorching hot. Whereas, The temperature reaches an average of 45 degrees centigrade. So keeping this in mind, matches will start after 4 p.m. This will be Nicholas Pooran’s first big series as white-ball captain since he has taken over from Kieron Pollard.

The two-time 50-overs World Cup champions just finished their series in the Netherlands, whitewashing the home side 3-0. On the other hand, Pakistan, who won their last ODI series by 2-1 at home against mighty Australians, will start training today.
Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, Pakistan is currently settling at number 10 with six wins out of 12. Whereas, West Indies have decent numbers, sitting at the number four position with eight wins in 18 matches.
