Museum of The Future, Dubai is another eccentric stature in the country. Apart from a traditional museum, this building predicts the future, new technology, and innovative lifestyle. Recently the museum got the excellence award in architecture.
The Museum of the Future is the latest landmark to open in Dubai’s world-famous skyline. Dubai is already home to some of the world’s most famous landmarks. Such as the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, the tallest hotel Gevora Hoel, seven-start hotel Burj Al Arab. While the construction of Ciel Tower is underway in Dubai it will be the tallest hotel in the world upon completion. Now the museum of Dubai is attracting tourists from all over the world.
Standing 77 metres (252 feet) tall and with an overall capacity of 30,548 square metres (329,000 square feet). The building was designed by renowned architectural firm Killa Design and engineered by Buro Happold. The verses imprinted on the exterior in Arabic calligraphy were designed by Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej.
The Museum of the Future will have floors dedicated to distinct experiences. Three floors of immersive exhibitions will focus on the possible futures of outer space resource development, ecosystems and bioengineering; and health, wellness, and spirituality. Another floor will showcase near-future technologies that will transform our world by addressing challenges in areas such as health, water, food, transportation, and energy. The final floor will be dedicated to children, where they will explore and solve challenges in their inimitable way to become our “future heroes”.

Dubai’s two skyscrapers have won international awards for the best tall building and construction excellence. The Museum of the Future won the Award of Excellence 2022 in the category of the best tall building from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). The entry ticket for the museum is 45 Dirhams per person. Even the ticket price is the same for kids. However, The unique interior and exterior attract tourists, and they won’t mind paying it anyways.
