Pakistan’s Top & leading universities have shaken hands once again. This time to provide the best in education for the nation in a joint effort. This happened on 6-September-2022 in Islamabad. A delegate from the National University of Computer & Emerging Science (NUCES-FAST) visited the Sir Syed Centre of Advanced Studies in Engineering & Information Technology (S.S CASE IT) campus. The focus was to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the 2 parties for the next 5 years.
The memorandum extends for a long period of 5 years. During this period and in accordance with the memorandum, both the institutes would share respective degree program courses. Faculty members will also exchange positions to provide the best of both institutes can offer. Moreover, the Centre of Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE Pvt Ltd) which is an arm institute of S.S CASE IT has agreed to provide internships to students from both universities. The MoU represents the effort of both institutes to promote the best academic cooperation in entire Pakistan. Being the leading universities of Pakistan, students from all over Pakistan believe in this MoU. It can prove to be a significant Game Changer in terms of academic excellence.

The MoU will allow the institutes to exchange graduates through student exchange programs, faculty members, and even course content. Both of the institutes recognize and admire each other’s strong points in terms of academic excellence. This is one of the main reasons why these institutes have come together to provide the best platform for their respective students. In this age where highly skilled IT specialists and computer scientists are in full demand by the global industry. It is imperative for Pakistan that it must produce highly skilled graduates who could contribute to the global economy.
Institutes like NUCES-FAST & SS CASE IT are joining hands to fulfill this need and to give an immense boost to the IT sector of Pakistan. Both institutes have agreed to open their respective curriculum to each other. This includes courses, students, and faculty exchange programs soon enough for the students. Collaborations like this are bound to make the Pakistans overall and IT economy set sail in the right direction after so many years of struggle.
