German Engineer Sets World Record for Living Underwater
Rudiger Koch, a German aerospace engineer, recently broke the world record for the longest time spent living underwater without depressurization. He spent an incredible 120 days in a submerged capsule off the coast of Panama, surpassing the previous record of 100 days set by Joseph Dituri.
German aerospace engineer Rüdiger Koch has made history by living underwater for 120 days without depressurization, setting a Guinness World Record. The 59-year-old spent his time in a 30-square-meter underwater capsule 11 meters deep off the coast of Puerto Lindo, Panama.
Koch broke the previous record of 100 days, set by American Joseph Dituri in a Florida lagoon.
