Blast in Mosque killed atleast 33 in Afghanistan

A Taliban spokesman said a bomb blast ripped through a mosque during Friday prayers in northern Afghanistan, killing atleast 33 people and injuring 43 more. Just a day earlier, the Daesh group claimed two separate attacks. After Taliban fighters ousted the US-backed government last year. The number of bombings declined, but the Daesh continued to attack targets they consider heretical. This week, bombings rocked the country, targeting a school and a mosque in Shiite neighborhoods.
