جنگِ ایلام دوم و سوئم :1990 سے ہی سری لنکن افواج اور تامل ٹائیگرز کے درمیان جھڑپوں کا دوبارہ آغاز ہوگیا تھا ۔ جولائی 1991 میں "معرکہِ ہاتھی پاس" Battle of Elephant pass کے آغاز کے ساتھ ہی سری لنکا و تامل ٹائیگرز کے درمیان دوسری فل سکیل جنگ شروع ہوگئی۔10 جولائی 1991 کو تامل ٹائیگرز کے 5 ہزار جنگجوؤں نے جافنا کو سری لنکا سے ملانے والے "ہاتھی پاس" میں قائم سری لنکن فوج کی اہم بیس پر حملہ کردیا۔9 اگست تک جاری رہنے والے اس معرکے میں سری لنکن فوج نے 600 تامل جنگجوؤں کو قتل کرتے ہوئے حملے کو پسپا کردیا۔ دوسری طرف 156 سری لنکن فوجی بھی جھڑپوں میں مارے گئے۔۔ سری لنکن خانہ جنگی سری لنکن وائس ایڈمرل کا قتل : 16 .نومبر 1992 کو تامل ٹائیگرز کے بم حملے میں سری لنکن بحریہ کے نائب ایڈمرل "کلانسی فرنانڈو" جاں بحق ہوگئے۔۔1992 میں تامل ٹائیگرز کی کارروائیاں :1992 میں تامل جنگجوؤں کے ہاتھوں مارے...
