The State Bank of Pakistan has announced plans to launch the country's first-ever digital currency. It aims to improve financial inclusion and reduce the reliance on cash transactions. Governor of State Bank of Pakistan Jameel Ahmad said Pakistan is working on launching the country’s first-ever digital currency. The Chairman of Senator Saleem in the Parliament House, the SBP governor, said in the meeting the central banks are piloting digital currencies. According to Henley Passport Index, Pakistan ranks 4th worst passport globally. Pakistan stands at 100th position in the 227 countries. According to Henly & Partners, Pakistan Passport rank among the 5th worst passports in the current year. According to Henley & Partners, The Passport Index has monitored the world's most travel-friendly passports since 2006. However, the ranking executes after analyzing and sorting different travel documents from all the countries. Pakistan has ranked as a nation with the 4th worst passport in the world.
