Lt. General Nigar Johar, First Female General of Pak Army

Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan is a three-star general in Pakistan army. She is the very first and only female lieutenant general in the history of Pakistan. She belongs to a Pashtun family, born in 1965 (approximate), in a Panjpir village of Swabi district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Her father named Qadir was an army colonel. She lost her parent and two younger sisters in a car accident. Her husband named Johar was an engineer in army, died in 2019 due to cancer. 31 years old climber summits K2 in her latest attempt. Samina Baig is the first Pakistani to climb Mount Everest. The whole nation is proud of its daughter to enlighten the country globally. Pakistan Railways paying pension to unverified employees

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), a state-owned think tank associated with the Planning Commission, has discovered that 115,000 unverified retired Pakistan Railways personnel are receiving Rs35 billion in yearly pension. PIDE stated in a statement published on Sunday. Their investigation found that railway losses totaled Rs144 billion between 2015 and 2020. The PIDE research suggested substantial institutional reforms at Pakistan Railways. It is now one of the country's top 10 loss-making state-owned companies.
