Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway has smashed the 28-year-old 3,000m world record by more than three seconds. The 23-year-old Norwegian clocked a time of 7 minutes 17.55 seconds at the Silesia Diamond League meeting in Chorzow, Poland on Sunday.
