On Saturday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made a significant change in leadership, removing Nida Dar from her role as captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket team. This decision came after the team’s poor performance in the Asia Cup.
Usman Wahla, PCB Director International Cricket, personally delivered the news to Dar. Wahla informed her, "You are being removed from the captaincy. Fatima Sana will take over as the captain of the Pakistan women's team. You will remain part of the national team."
