India Imposes Curfew in Border Areas Amid Political Unrest in Bangladesh

In response to the ongoing political crisis in Bangladesh, India has implemented a curfew in border areas to maintain order and security. The political turmoil began when Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled the capital, Dhaka, and sought asylum in New Delhi. The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has enforced a curfew from 6 pm to 6 am in all areas of Meghalaya within 200 meters of the Bangladeshi border.
