China Unveils World’s Fastest Internet Network

China has rolled out the world's fastest internet network. It is capable of transmitting data at 1.2 terabits per second (Tbps). The new Chinese internet system is based on a technology called OTN (Optical Transport Network). However, it uses lasers to transmit data over optical fibers. China has announced the creation of the fastest internet network globally. The new network, developed by Chinese tech company Huawei in collaboration with China Mobile, Beijing’s Tsinghua University, and Cernet (a government-funded education and research network), boasts speeds of 1.2 terabits (or 1,200 gigabits) per second. China renamed 11 cities in Arunachal Pradesh

For the third time in six years. China has announced Chinese names for geographical features in Arunachal Pradesh. Reiterating its claim to the entire Indian state. China is making Southern Tibet in this region. In its latest attempt to lay claim to areas inside the Indian territory. The Chinese government on Sunday announced it would “standardize” the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. Releasing a list of the 11 places along with a map that shows parts of Arunachal Pradesh instead of inside the southern Tibetan region, that China refers to as Zangnan. Covid-19 is getting out of hands in China again

In the last 20 days, Covid-19 has reached a new level in China. Hospitals are full as they are getting 250 million cases per month. "Every person I know is getting fever", citizens are crying. Nearly 37 million people in China may have been infected with COVID-19 on a single day this week. The Bloomberg news agency has reported. Citing minutes from an internal meeting of the country’s National Health Commission held on Wednesday. In all, the report which was published on Friday said about 18 percent of the country’s population of 248 million people are likely to have contracted the virus in the first 20 days of December.
