Nigar Johar, Pakistan Amry first female Lieutenanat General
Last year in June, Major General Nigar Johar created history by becoming the first female officer to be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General owing to her spectacular performance in several leadership.

In 2017, Nigar is the first and only woman in the history of Pakistan Army to reach the rank of lieutenant-general, and the third to reach the rank of major-general. Lt General Nigar Johar belongs to the Pakistan Army Medical Corps and currently serves as the surgeon general of Pakistan Army.
