Human rights and female education activist, Malala Yousafzai tied the knot on November 9. The activist announced the news of her marriage on Twitter. "Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life" she wrote.
The marriage was a Nikah ceremony that took place at Malala's home in Birmingham, England. The ceremony was a small one, with only family members in it.
