Saudi Arabia Begins Issuing Umrah Visas
Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah visas once again, allowing Muslims from around the world to visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah for religious pilgrimage. The announcement was made by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, marking the beginning of the Umrah season after the Hajj pilgrimage.
Umrah is a significant religious practice for Muslims, often referred to as the lesser pilgrimage compared to Hajj, which occurs annually during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah. With the conclusion of the Hajj season, the Ministry has now resumed issuing visas through the Nusuk App, effective from Zilhajj 15, which corresponds to June 21 in the Gregorian calendar.
