Saudi Arabia Begins Issuing Umrah Visas
Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah visas once again, allowing Muslims from around the world to visit holy cities of Makkah and Madinah for religious pilgrimage. The announcement was made by Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, marking the beginning of Umrah season after Hajj pilgrimage.
Umrah is a significant religious practice for Muslims, often referred to as lesser pilgrimage compared to Hajj, which occurs annually during Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah. With the conclusion of Hajj season, Ministry has now resumed issuing visas through Nusuk App, effective from Zilhajj 15, which corresponds to June 21 in Gregorian calendar.
