According to sources, Qatar is committed to hosting the 2036 Summer Olympic Games in Doha. The current FIFA World Cup's success has given the Qataris more confidence and strengthened their determination to host the Olympics. The International Olympic Committee has not specified a deadline for when it intends to award the 2036 sports extravaganza. If Qatar hosts the 2036 Olympics, it will become the first Muslim nation to host the Olympics. The Olympic administration does not consider Qatar due in part to worries about the summer temperatures in the desert state. 13 year old Skateboarder, Momiji Nishiya secured Olympic gold, in the newly introduced 'Women's Street Competition'. Nishiya after the win said, "I welled up in tears because I was beyond happy". TOKYO, JAPAN - On Monday 9th August, Japan 13 year old skateboarder Momiji Nishiya went onto win the Gold medal in the women's skateboarding street competition. Nishiya despite her small age, showed exceptional talent and had a total score of 15.26 points.
