Bykea app got hacked

Hackers hacked Bykea, a leading ride-hailing and mobility app in Pakistan, today, June 13, 2023.  The hackers gained access to the app's database and stole the personal data of millions of users.  Moreover, including their names, email addresses, and phone numbers. Users on social media reported the hack after they started receiving abusive messages when they tried to log in to the app. Bykea confirmed that the app was hacked in a statement, saying that it was working to fix the issue and that user data was safe.
