Pakistani citizens may soon receive good news as the government plans to lower petrol and diesel prices from August 15, 2024. This expected decrease could bring much-needed relief to the public, who have been grappling with rising living costs. Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan has revealed that a total of 160,000 Pakistani pilgrims will undertake the sacred journey of Hajj in 2024. This announcement comes with significant details regarding arrangements and logistics for the pilgrimage. According to ministry's spokesman, Pakistan Hajj Mission will accommodate 70,000 official Hajj pilgrims, while approximately 90,000 Pakistani pilgrims will embark on the journey through private Hajj companies.
