100% Scholarship Program for BS Students in Govt and Private Universities
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled a series of initiatives to transform the province's educational landscape. A significant highlight is the 'Ho-Nihar' merit scholarship program, which aims to boost the number of scholarships from 4,000 to 25,000. This program will provide 100% fee scholarship for Bachelor of Science (BS) students in government colleges and eight private universities, making higher education more accessible to deserving students.
Maryam Nawaz also approved the immediate establishment of new universities in Jhelum, Vehari, and Bahawalnagar. Alongside these developments, she directed the swift rollout of the laptop scheme, designed to equip students with the necessary tools for digital learning.
