PTI MNAs decided to resign from National Assembly
After the Pakistani citizenry looked forward to the result of the no-trust vote. Imran Khan took the resignation of 145 MNAs (Members of the National Assembly) a day before the vote. The Deputy Speaker of the Pakistani Parliament had dismissed the no-trust motion citing 'Foreign Conspiracy'. PM Imran Khan has urged the people to prepare for fresh elections.
Pakistan's former prime minister, Imran Khan, resigned as a member of the National Assembly ahead of the election for country's new leader. Earlier, Imran Khan said that he would not sit in the National Assembly with 'thieves'.
"No one can elect as Prime Minister a man who has 16 billion and 8 billion rupees of corruption cases on his record. We will resign," Imran Khan said on Twitter.
